How come no love stories end in real life like they do in movies?

because movies are and always have been purposefully made as a non lethal form of escapism. u fall into the story, you concentrate in it without trying...you forget thinfs for a while, who knew that they would set the bar so high. and y is "the notebook" like "the godfather" of romance movies..dont get it. i thought white palace and 9 1/2 weeks was more romantic
