Drug Prohibition in America?

Thanks. I've posted similar questions in my questions. I'm actually in the process of starting an organization that is opposed to the war on drugs. The war on drugs statistically has driven up the incarceration rate as well as the homicide rate. It's a direct violation of constitutional liberty. The problem is that money is allowed into the electoral process partly. As the laws are now: the establishment will favor what businesses are already established. What is in power seeks to remain so and does through campaign contributions. This is directly inversive of the original free market captialistic society outlined in the constitution.
