Can my teacher drop me out of this class?

At my college, there is not set amount of days that you can miss before failing a course. You could ideally miss all days and still pass the course. I showed up late two times and I am not going to class today because it's the last day. Can my teacher kick me out? I don't think he can because attendance is not mandartory and I paid for the course.
